Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Sequel, a cloud service provider operating in Indonesia. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services and constitute a legal agreement between you and Sequel. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all provisions set out in this document.

Definitions

• “Company” refers to Sequel, a cloud service provider duly registered in Indonesia.
• “User” refers to any individual or entity that accesses and uses the services provided by Sequel.
• “Services” refer to the cloud computing solutions provided by Sequel, including but not limited to Virtual Private Server (VPS) services, cloud storage, and related infrastructure.

User Eligibility

By using our services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained legal consent from a parent or guardian. If you use the services on behalf of an entity, you warrant that you have the lawful authority to bind such entity to these Terms and Conditions.

Account Registration

To access certain services, you are required to create an account using accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and must promptly notify Sequel of any unauthorized use of your account.

Service Provision

• The Company endeavors to provide reliable and continuous services. However, the Company does not guarantee that the services will be entirely free from errors or interruptions (downtime).
• The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for maintenance, security reasons, or in the event of a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
• Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the services complies with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.

Payment and Billing

• Users must pay all service fees in accordance with the established billing terms.
• The Company reserves the right to change pricing with prior notice. Continued use of the services after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Late payment may result in suspension or termination of services.

User Responsibilities

Users are prohibited from:

• Engaging in illegal activities using the services.
• Distributing or hosting malware, phishing sites, or other harmful content.
• Using system resources beyond the limits specified in the selected service plan.
• Attempting to access any part of Sequel infrastructure without authorization.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Users are prohibited from using the services to:

• Store pirated files, pornographic content, or sell illegal goods such as narcotics, and similar items.
• Engage in harmful activities such as phishing, hacking, scanning, or other activities that violate Indonesian law.
• Send spam, whether intentionally or unintentionally.
• Use servers for tunneling activities that cause excessive and unreasonable bandwidth usage.
• If a public IP of the service is subject to a DDoS attack, the network provider (ISP) has the right to apply a null route (international access block) for an unspecified period.
• Internet connection speeds exceeding reasonable limits may be restricted to avoid disrupting other users (fair usage).
• Install IRC bots, PsyBNC, or other IRC-related processes.
• Use Web Proxy, Mail Proxy, or any other proxy services.
• Use BitTorrent or other peer-to-peer applications.
• Perform cryptocurrency mining.
• VPN installation is permitted only for internal network purposes, not for general internet access.

Users who violate the above provisions, whether intentionally or unintentionally, may be subject to immediate service termination by the Company without prior notice.

Data Protection and Privacy

• The Company is committed to protecting user data and complying with applicable data protection regulations in Indonesia.
• Users are responsible for backing up their own data. The Company is not liable for data loss unless expressly stated in the service agreement.

Suspension and Termination

• The Company may suspend or terminate an account without prior notice if a user violates these Terms and Conditions.
• Users may cancel services at any time by following the cancellation procedure provided on the Sequel platform.
• No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to policy violations.

Limitation of Liability

• The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the services.
• Users acknowledge that cloud services carry inherent risks, including data loss and service interruptions, and agree to use the services at their own risk.

Force Majeure

The Company is not responsible for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government actions, or technical failures.

Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the services shall be deemed acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute arising from or related to this document will be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, through the courts in Indonesia.
